Waxin 55 SP®
Heavy-duty thick-film protection for long-term and outdoor storage.
A thick-film, solvent-deposited anti-rust coating for outdoor and long-term metal storage, leaving a residual film highly resistant to salt water and salt spray.
Overview
Waxin 55 SP is a thick-film anti-rust protective that delivers excellent, long-term protection on metal surfaces stored outdoors. It is applied as a solution in a volatile aliphatic solvent; once the solvent evaporates, the dark residual film is highly resistant to corrosion.
The cured film resists salt water and salt-spray exposure exceptionally well, making Waxin 55 SP particularly useful in automotive anti-rust applications and heavy-duty service. It is supplied at 55% active in 45% aliphatic solvent.
Chemistry: Oxidized and saponified petrolatum dissolved in an organic (aliphatic) solvent.
